We accepted an award in the education area from the 2012 Smart Content Awards; we also participated in on-site consulting to get information on the business aspects including marketing and publishing, and it was of great help. ^^

Tomorrow, we plan to attend the Overseas Marketing Power-up Workshop and lectures on advancement into the USA, China, and Japan markets and business strategy. Conferences of this type is unfamiliar for us, maybe because we are a small-sized developer based company, but we at ARCREATIVE really learned a great deal.

On the 20th, a variety of programs are scheduled. At 6 pm, the 2012 Smart Content Awards Ceremony will be held. Our 3D animation app book Pilo the Pillow Fairy, which is currently in service, was chosen for the education/books category.^^
Feeling happy and grateful…^^

Release of Pilo the Pillow Fairy, a 3D Animation App Book Created by Daddy

IT Today article on Pilo the Pillow Fairy
Smart content design developer ARCREATIVE (Co-CEOs: Seung-gwan Lee and Seung-jae Lee; http://www.arcreative.co.kr/) announced on the 21st that the 3D app book for young children, Pilo the Pillow Fairy series, has been released.
Pilo the Pillow Fairy was implemented in various interactive games and animation in 3D technology as a purely Korean creative story. Dubbed by native English, Chinese, and Korean speakers, the complete app book offers three different language education services.
It tells stories of children who do not want to go to bed but who meet Pilo in the dream world, have fun, and build good memories.
According to a source, it is most suitable for 3~5-year-olds who are inquisitive and who like having fun. It also contains proven EQ sensibility-building themes. Its episodes have education components including EQ emotional content, sensibility development, behavioral development, creativity, and expression, observation, and interpersonal relationship skills.
“For me, this is the most appropriate character for stories that can lead children to a dream world. Actually, developers who are actual fathers created this with their own children in mind,” ARCREATIVE’s associate revealed.
Currently, in the open markets of the three major mobile ccarriers, Volumes 1, 2, and 3 are downloadable for KRW 3,000 and for free at Apple’s Appstore.

“Pilo” draws attention as a sensibility-nurturing 3D animation app book that takes young children to “the dream world.”

Pilo has smart content implemented in 3D technology-
based game and animation from an original Korean fairytale book.

Dubbed by native English, Chinese
, and Korean speakers, this app book offers three different language education services. “To a crying child, wouldn’t parents welcome the ability to console their child by enticing them into the dream world? We developed this out of our parental wish for the child to have a friend to play with in a dream,” ARCREATIVE’s source said.

It
tells stories of children refusing to go to bed but who meet Pilo and build good memories of a fun time in the dream world.

Pilo is an original character that takes
the form of a pillow. In the real world, it is just a lifeless pillow with button eyes; once the main character goes to sleep, however, it becomes animated as a pillow fairy introducing friends from the dream world.

“Pilo has a story structure that has an immediate link to the real life of parents who struggle to put their children to sleep. Thus, this drives naturally the formation of a bond of sympathy toward the pillow character as the protagonist,” ARCREATIVE’s source explained.

The stories in Pilo are most suitable for fun-
3~5-year-olds who are full of curiosity with their proven EQ sensibility-developing themes.

Its episodes contain EQ sensibility-nurturing content and cover emotional and behavioral development, creativity,
and expression, observation, and interpersonal relationship skills and corresponding educational content. In the interludes of stories, a variety of fun games are provided.

At Apple’s iTunes, Tstore, OZ store
, and Olleh Market, you can enter “Pilo” in the search box.
