“Pilo” draws attention as a
sensibility-nurturing 3D animation app book that takes young children to “the dream world.”
Pilo has smart content implemented in 3D technology-based
game and animation from an original Korean fairytale
book.
Dubbed by native English, Chinese, and Korean
speakers, this app book offers three different language education
services. “To a crying child, wouldn’t parents
welcome the ability to console their child by enticing them into the
dream world? We developed this out of our parental wish for the child
to have a friend to play with in a dream,”
ARCREATIVE’s source said.
It tells stories of children refusing to
go to bed but who meet Pilo and build good memories
of a fun time in the dream world.
Pilo is an original character that takes the form of
a pillow. In the real world, it is just a lifeless pillow with
button eyes; once the main character goes to
sleep, however, it becomes animated as a pillow fairy introducing
friends from the dream world.
“Pilo has a story
structure that has an immediate link to the real life of parents who struggle
to put their children to sleep. Thus, this drives
naturally the formation of a bond of sympathy toward the pillow character
as the protagonist,” ARCREATIVE’s source explained.
The stories in Pilo are most suitable for fun-3~5-year-olds
who are full of curiosity
with their proven EQ sensibility-developing themes.
Its episodes contain EQ sensibility-nurturing content and cover emotional and
behavioral development, creativity, and expression,
observation, and interpersonal relationship
skills and corresponding educational content. In the
interludes of stories, a variety of fun games are provided.
